Load King Equipment at Custom Truck One Source
Load King, a fully integrated part of Custom Truck One Source, Inc., has been engineering heavy-duty vocational equipment since 1956. When you source Load King through us, you’re buying from the company that engineers, builds and stands behind the units.
From the manufacturing floor to field service across North America, the connection between Custom Truck One Source and Load King runs deeper than a standard dealer relationship. It’s a cradle-to-grave commitment — one that begins when you place an order and extends through the full working life of your equipment.
Load King Equipment for Sale and Rent
Load King’s product family covers five core categories of vocational equipment, each backed by decades of engineering refinement and available through Custom Truck One Source’s nationwide network.
Load King Trailers
For heavy haulers and infrastructure contractors, Load King trailers represent more than seven decades of innovative design. The line covers detachable and folding gooseneck configurations, rigid gooseneck trailers, Load King lowboy designs, pole and reel trailers, specialty trailers and fully custom hauling systems engineered for the most demanding transport applications.
Load King secured the Patent of the Year award in 1966 for its innovative E-Z Fold Mechanical Folding Gooseneck Trailer, a design the company continues to refine and manufacture today. Whether you’re moving construction equipment, oil field machinery or specialized cargo, the Load King trailer line has a configuration built for the job.
Load King Cranes and Boom Trucks
The Load King crane lineup, anchored by the Stinger Series, covers a lifting range from 28-ton configurations up to the Stinger 80-160, which delivers 80 tons of capacity on a 160-foot double-keel boom. Load King expanded its crane product family significantly in 2019 when it acquired Terex Corporation’s boom truck, truck crane and crossover product lines, broadening the Stinger Series into a capable vocational crane offering.
Today, Load King cranes serve contractors across construction, utility, telecommunications and infrastructure — anywhere heavy vertical lift is part of the daily operation.
Load King Service Trucks
The Voyager® Series brings Load King’s manufacturing precision to the service and mechanics truck market. Three configurations cover a wide range of fleet needs: the Voyager I is an under-CDL unit that gets working crews to the job without additional licensing overhead, the Voyager II steps up for heavier field service applications, and the Voyager P is purpose-built for propane market operations.
Load King Dump Trucks
Load King dump bodies are built to move serious material. The lineup spans from 10-foot bodies carrying up to 7 cubic yards of sand, aggregate or asphalt through 19-foot configurations handling 21 to 22 cubic yards per load. Most Load King dump bodies come with a motorized mesh tarp, and each model is available across a wide range of chassis brands, including Peterbilt, Freightliner, Kenworth, Mack and others.
The heavy-duty LK10DB body uses a trunnion-mount hoist but has a no-doghouse design, delivering a cleaner, more capable body at a competitive price point.
Load King Water Trucks
Our Load King water truck tanks are built in-house, with the same manufacturing control that defines the rest of the product line. With certain chassis configurations, the 2,000-gallon model is a non-CDL vehicle accessible to regularly licensed drivers, reducing operational overhead for fleet managers running lean crews.
The 4,000-gallon model is engineered for large-scale construction and mining applications where sustained water delivery is a daily requirement. Both models are constructed from A36 steel with a modified ellipse design and are available across multiple chassis configurations.
Get Load King Parts and Service
Buying Load King equipment through Custom Truck One Source means your parts source is the same company that manufactured your equipment, ensuring we stock the parts your equipment was designed to use. We maintain an extensive in-house parts inventory, including a stock of Load King components spanning trailers, cranes, service trucks, dump bodies and water truck systems. We also operate a 24/7 call center for when the job doesn’t run on a standard schedule.
Our technicians carry manufacturer-level knowledge of these systems. That means faster diagnosis, more accurate repairs and less downtime.
Buy, Rent or Lease Load King Equipment
Not every fleet operation runs on the same acquisition model, and Custom Truck One Source is built for that reality. Purchase new or preowned Load King equipment outright, deploy from our rental fleet when project timelines call for flexibility over long-term investment or structure a lease or Rent-to-Purchase (RPO) arrangement that puts equipment to work without tying up capital.
Whether you’re building a core fleet or flexing for a single project window, Custom Truck One Source has an acquisition path that fits the operation.
