2027 Freightliner M2106 4x2 Galbreath CH8R Container Handler Truck

A container handler lets one driver move, service, and swap both front-end and rear-end loader containers without a second truck or a helper on the ground. The Galbreath CH8R handles FEL containers from 2 to 10 cu yd and REL containers from 2 to 6 cu yd, with a rotating head that turns a full 360° and 60" steel forks on a steel frame assembly. It’s rated to lift 8,000 lbs, haul 4,000 lbs, and rotate 4,000 lbs, with a direct-mount pump and a 20 gal hydraulic reservoir behind it. Outside and in-cab controls are both included, along with a safety prop, a chain and grab hook, an 18" x 18" x 36" steel toolbox, poly fenders, a beacon, a rear light bar, and a hoist-up alarm. The chassis is a Freightliner M2 106 Plus 4x2 sized for neighborhood and commercial routes, with a 12,000 lb front axle, a 21,000 lb rear axle with a driver-controlled locking differential, and a 26,000 lb GVWR. The Cummins L9 makes 330 hp and 1,000 lb-ft through an Allison 3500 RDS-P, with an integral engine brake, air brakes, an air dryer, and an engine block heater. A 30 T pintle hitch, 7-way round receptacle, trailer brake controller, and gladhands also let it pull a trailer. The cab has an air ride driver seat, heated mirrors, power windows and locks, and a rear camera, and the 70 gal fuel tank covers a full day of container work.
