The Sherman+Reilly BWT-1424 bullwheel tensioner, with a pair of 42-inch, 5-groove bullwheels with solid-cast machined urethane linings, coupled with 28” diameter aluminum-bronze disc brake has a tensioning capacity of 4,000 lbs. at 4 mph. It includes a reel carrier that accommodates reels up to 84 in. O.D. by 54 in. wide weighing up to 8,000 lbs. Bullwheels are canted for right-hand lay, left-hand lay, or twisted pair conductor.
