Most hooklifts sell on lift capacity alone, but the more useful number on this Palfinger HT500L is its container range: one hookup handles boxes from 16' to 22', so a single truck can run different container sizes without a second hoist. It lifts up to 50,000 lbs and tips to a 48° dump angle, and a manually adjustable dual-point articulation jib sets at 54" or 61 3/4" to match the container height. The hoist is built from A514 (T-1) steel with a direct-mount piston pump running at 4,495 psi and dual lift cylinders, backed by a 3 year structural and 1 year hydraulic warranty. Mechanical slide-through hold downs, poly fenders, and an Aeroforce ROC tarp secure and cover the load, and PAD joystick controls for the hoist and tarper run off a hot shift PTO. An 18" x 18" x 48" steel toolbox, a spill kit, a beacon, and work lights are included. The chassis is a Freightliner M2 106 Plus 6x4 with a 20,000 lb front axle, a 46,000 lb Hendrickson HMX EX 460 tandem rear, a driver-controlled locking differential, and a 66,000 lb GVWR.
