Load King manufacturers a couple different options of Bottom Dump trailers, including this LK 2060-40-3. With a 20 cubic yard struck capacity, this trailer has an estimated weight of 15,400 lbs and carries a rated net payload of 60,000 lbs, or 30 tons. This bottom dump trailer has a hopper dump opening of 64″ x 106″ and an upper hopper opening of 90″ x 187″.
LOWER HOPPER CASTING
Using corner castings increases the durability of these critical stress points. This Load King feature is unique to the industry and significantly contributes to the life span of the trailer.
RUBBER BUSHED FIFTH WHEEL PLATE
The Rubber Bushed Fifth Wheel Plate oscillates from side to side with the tractors fifth wheel. This four way oscillation protects the frame from twisting, thus reducing stress on the structural framework.
BOLT-ON PUSH BLOCK
This Load King design prevents damage from the blade locking into the recess and putting harmful pressure on the frame.
SUPERIOR GATE DESIGN
The Load King Gate provides a tight fit every time. We utilize replaceable bearings at the pivot point of the gate resulting in longer life and reduced maintenance cost.
MULTIPLE GATE LIMITER SETTINGS
Load King provides eight gate opening positions in eight inch increments. This feature allows multiple options for a more controlled discharge of product.
APITONG SIDEBOARDS
The Originator uses 7.25" Apitong hardware sideboards in lieu of pine which is commonly used. The durability of this hardwood sideboard provides a longer lasting life span, reducing operating costs.
REMOTE PENDANT & IN-CAB CONTROLS
This standard feature provides easy and precise operation from inside the cab or from the remote pendant. This feature is safely stored in a protected compartment.
60 GALLON AIR TANK
Larger air tanks allow for extended operation of the gate for applications.
8 INCH GALLON CYLINDERS
The cylinders are located outside of the hopper and inside gate for protection against damage.
FRONT FENDERS
Sturdy front fenders are an available option for all Originator models. They are particularly suited for users who do not have fenders on their tractors.
HOPPER OPENINGS
With the industry's largest hopper openings. The 90" x 100" upper opening allows for an easier and quicker loading operation. The lower hopper opening of 64" x 108" enables faster discharge. This advantage allows more cycles per day.
ADVANCED SUPERSTRUCTURE
A structural network, consisting of braces extending throughout the unit regulates twisting and flexing. Rear horizontal braces in conjunction with the subframe and extra deep cross headers, control flexing created at the push block. Front and rear diagonal braces control transverse movement adding structural integrity to the upper hopper.
