Load King LK-25TT Tag & Tilt Trailer
The LK 25TT is a 25-ton Tag & Tilt trailer manufactured by Load King. The trailer is equipped with two axles, a tilting platform and stationary deck, carrying loads up to 50,000 lbs (or 25 tons).
6" I-BEAM CROSSMEMBERS
Where many other Tag trailers are built with 3" or 4" crossmembers, Load King uses 6" crossmembers which are the deepest in the industry.
SPRING-ASSISTED RAMPS
All Tag Trailer ramps are equipped with spring assisted ramps for ease of lifting.
COMPRESSION BUCKETS
All Tag Trailers ramps are equipped with compression buckets to support the weight between ramp and beavertail transition while loading and unloading from the trailer.
ACCURATE CARRYING CAPACITY
Load King rates their trailers at actual payload capacity where others rate their trailer at payload plus empty weight [GVWR], which provides a payload capacity less than the rated capacity.
ADVANCED MAIN BEAMS
All trailers are manufactured with a single main beam with no curling or splicing. The main beams are built through a cold form process and are not heated up witch weakens the structural integrity.
PIERCED FRAME
Load King uses pierced main beams which allows for deeper main beams and crossmembers while maintaining a lower deck height. This method also enables an interlocking frame which adds extra strength.
CUSHION CYLINDERS
Load King utilizes Cushion Cylinders so the deck operates smoothly in loading and uploading.
UNDERRIDE PROTECTION
Load King Tilt Trailer Underride Protection meets National Highway Traffic Safety Administration mandated FMVSS-223 and FMVSS-224
SAFETY LATCH
Load King Cantilever U-bolt safety lock maintains safe transportation with every Tilt Trailer. This feature is easily adjustable to maintain a tight connection, eliminating any possibility of deck rattle.
SUSPENSION & TRUE TRACK ALIGNMENT
H-9700 Multi-point Suspension equalizers distribute the load evenly between the axles. Over 44,000 lbs. of total spring capacity on all dual tandem trailers prevents complete spring deflection under extreme conditions. In addition, adjustable torque arms maintain the axle alignment and allow for easier maintenance.
WRAP AROUND NOSEPLATE & TRAYPAN
The Load King fabricated nose plate securely integrates the main beams. The traypan is conveniently located in the tongue for storage of chains, binders, and small tools.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The modular wiring harness is PVC jacketed, and allows for easy repair by simply plugging in the replacement part. Long lasting LED lights are flush mounted in rubber grommets, and are protected with a sealed beam.
