In February of 2016, Custom Truck One Source acquired Load King. The company is a single-source supplier for utility and heavy equipment industries. They focus on sales, rental, parts, equipment customization, remanufacturing and installation, as well as aftermarket services.

A Past, Present, and Future of Innovation
Despite its storied history, this company shows no sign of slowing down. It has been recognized multiple times in previous years for industry and product innovation. Most recently, in January of 2021, Construction Equipment Magazine named two Load King products in its Top 100 New Products list, the longest-running awards program of its kind in the industry. Each year, their panel of expert editors evaluate products introduced over the previous months. They choose the top 100 based on innovation, advanced technology, product improvement, safety, and level of competitiveness in its field.
The first Load King recognition was for the Voyager® Series of mechanics bodies, which includes the Voyager® I, Voyager® II, and Voyager® P. The second is for the 60-ton 503-605-SS-SF Hydraulic Detach Lowboy Trailer for the second consecutive year.
